General comments
Systemische profylaxe: cefazoline eenmalig 2 g iv preoperatief, zo nodig een tweede gift bij een operatie die > 4 uur duurt en/of bij significant bloedverlies tijdens de operatie; bij allergie voor cefalosporines clindamycine of vancomycine. Voor brachiocephale procedures zonder plaatsing van kunstmateriaal wordt geen systemische profylaxe aanbevolen.
